Colville Road

IMA were appointed by private clients in 2023 to oversee the repair, restoration and remodelling of 26 Colville Road a 6 storey stucco fronted Victorian terraced villa in West London following a disastrous flood the previous year. The building, originally built in the mid 19th century as a single family home had been converted in the 20th century to 3 independent duplex apartments.

The lower unit comprising garden basement and ground floor had been severely damaged during the flood and stripped out by contractors working directly for the insurance company.

The rear original masonry elevation had slipped inward toward the party wall causing twisting and distortion to the windows and staircase.

Working with the client’s interior designers Thurston , structural engineers HTS and contractors Kiwi all 3 duplexes were dramatically remodelled and brought back to the market within 18 months.
